School principal killed; wife’s son abducted by bandits in Kaduna.

Suspected bandits killed Idris Abu Sufyan, a school principal, and abducted his wife and their son at Kuriga village along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway in Kaduna on Thursday night. The bandits have yet to communicate the captives' whereabouts to the public. One of the late principal's friends, Sabiu Gayam, on his Facebook page, confirmed the friend's demise, saying that hoodlums attacked him. The Command's Police Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, assured the incidents, telling the security operatives were on top of the situation and trying their best to rescue the abducted wife and her son and apprehend the culprits.
