According to a recent report by Peoples Magazine, the Duchess of Cambridge underwent a planned abdominal surgery last week, but the nature of the procedure and the reasons behind it have not been disclosed yet. The good news is that the surgery was not related to cancer.
Kate's illness came as a complete surprise to her friends and family, as nobody had any idea that she was going to the hospital. Before the operation, she fulfilled her regular royal duties and entertained guests at Anmer Hall.
Sources close to the matter have confirmed that Kate is recovering well and has the full support of the monarchy during her ongoing recovery. She is expected to remain in the hospital for approximately 10 to 14 days before returning to her public duties after the Easter holiday.
When Kate returns to Windsor to recuperate, she will have the unwavering support of her parents, siblings, and husband. Knowing that she has a robust support system to help her recover is comforting.
